One of our key internal ventures is HotelOne – a fast-scaling SaaS platform for the hospitality industry, where Donatix is both a core shareholder and technology partner.

We’re currently expanding the HotelOne product team with a Product Backend Laravel Developer, who will contribute to long-term feature development, large-scale data integrations with hotel systems, and the creation of performance-optimized APIs hosted on AWS.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in backend development with PHP and Laravel
• Strong understanding of Laravel internals, Eloquent ORM, Queues, Events, and Task Scheduling
• Proven experience with data synchronization, large data sets, or third-party integrations
• Hands-on experience with MySQL (query optimization, indexing, migrations)
• Familiarity with AWS services: RDS, S3, CloudWatch, EC2 (or Laravel Forge-provisioned instances)
• Good knowledge of REST API design and JSON handling
• Experience using Laravel Forge and managing cloud-deployed applications
• Not afraid to use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor) to speed up delivery or prototype solutions
• Delivery-oriented mindset — able to balance speed and quality effectively
• Self-managed and responsible — capable of owning features end-to-end with minimal supervision
• Basic to intermediate experience in Prompt Engineering
• Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Experience using GIT and collaborating via code reviews and pull requests
• Basic understanding of frontend (Vue.js) is a plus but not required
• Experience as part of a Scrum or Agile team is considered an asset
