Activity Choices is a dynamic startup addressing the challenge of finding and booking sports activities in local areas. Their vision is to provide users with a seamless experience to explore and reserve classes across multiple gyms and activity centers from a single platform.

Activity Choices set out to simplify the way people discover and book sports and fitness activities. The goal was to build a platform that connects users with a wide range of gyms and activity providers, offering a seamless, centralized booking experience.
At the same time, the platform needed to empower sports centers with tools to manage schedules, set custom pricing, and reach new customers—all from a dedicated admin dashboard.
To achieve this, the project focused on:
- Creating a user-friendly interface for browsing and booking activities
- Building a robust backend to support real-time availability and pricing
- Developing a custom admin portal for providers
- Integrating a reliable and secure payment system
The end goal was to bridge the gap between users and providers in a fragmented fitness market.
The Challenge
In the fragmented market of sports and fitness services, users often struggle to find and book classes conveniently. Simultaneously, sports centers face difficulties in marketing their services and managing schedules effectively. Activity Choices aimed to bridge this gap by creating a solution that benefits both users and service providers.
Our Approach
We initiated the project with comprehensive wireframing and customer journey mapping to understand user goals and personas. This was followed by a focused design phase to ensure an intuitive user experience. The platform was developed using Vue.js and Laravel, integrating with the Epay payment service provider for seamless transactions. Additionally, we built a custom admin panel for sports centers, enabling them to manage schedules and personalized pricing efficiently.

The collaboration resulted in a functional platform that streamlined the booking process for users and provided sports centers with tools to better market their services and manage operations. Although the project was paused after a year due to strong competition from international players, it demonstrated the potential for innovative solutions in the sports activity booking sector.
